Planning and building the RX design system
Introduction
Phenom’s CRM system had many UI elements and screens, but there was no orderly design system and each feature added was designed from scratch. As time went on, more and more screens and capabilities were added to the system and the need for automation of design and development grew.

Work Process
Audit
I took an inventory to see what assets are currently in use. I went through our Sketch files, and collected components and styles.
Create
I created the entire design system as a library in Figma.
Starting from styles, then atoms and then components. Creating also a documentation for all in Confluence.
Maintain
The ongoing challenge of slowly updating the system over time, to keep adding new components, styles and interactions.
While also creating and documenting all the work processes.
